Launch of the AEROFUSE project

2026-04-10

FDC is pleased to announce its participation in the AEROFUSE project – An Alliance for the Future of the AEROnautics and Upstream Segment Skills Evolution, a European initiative aimed at strengthening skills in the aerospace and defence sector.

AEROFUSE is funded by the EU under the Erasmus+ programme, with a total budget of nearly €4 million and a duration of 48 months, from December 2025 to the end of 2029.

The project is led by a consortium of 26 partners from 12 European countries, including academic institutions, training providers, industry players, and sector organisations committed to enhancing skills and developing innovative learning pathways.

AEROFUSE focuses on three strategic segments – aircraft manufacturing, satellite production, and airport infrastructure – to align training offers with labour market needs and bridge skills gaps in a rapidly evolving sector driven by digitalisation, sustainability, and emerging technologies.

Take part in the AEROFUSE survey

As part of the project activities, a survey is now open for organisations and professionals active in the aerospace and defence sectors.

The survey collects information on capabilities, supply chains, training needs, and collaboration opportunities to guide analyses, tools, and strategic recommendations.

We encourage our partners and colleagues to fill in the survey here: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/AEROFUSE

The deadline to provide feedback is the 30th of April 2026.
